Lowry City Council Regular Meeting February 4th, 2025

The Lowry City Council Meeting was called to order on February 4, 2025 at 7:00 pm by Mayor Dan Sutton with the Pledge of Allegiance. |
|

MEMBERS PRESENT: |
Dan Sutton, Virgil Coziahr, Jackie Olson, Trish McCrory, DJ Ashler |
|
MEMBERS ABSENT: |

OTHERS PRESENT: |
Craig Moe and Elin Ashler |
|
CONSENT AGENDA: |
Approve January’s minutes, Treasurer’s report, pay bills Ck 13490- 13512 and payroll checks 2902 to 2909. Motion made by Virgil to approve consent agenda; second by Trish. All voted aye, motion carried |

VISITOR’S COMMENTS:
|
Craig Moe- Questions regarding drain pipes being reconnected. Informed him we would follow up with a meeting with project manager.

OLD BUSINESS: |
Widseth- will be putting bids out in the Spring project.
|
|
NEW BUSINESS: |
Lions wondering about putting a portable restroom at City Park. City of Lowry agreed to assume responsibility for cost of maintenance. Motion made by Virgil to approve, second by DJ. All voted aye, motion carried. DJ talked about plans for Community Center kitchen remodel.

OTHER ITEMS OF DISCUSSION:
|
At January meeting it was mentioned to start research into increasing pay for City Council Members. Will continue to research.
Xcel energy will send out staff to check lights that are flickering off of Florence and Isabelle, and Highway 114/ Aurora Street and Cherry Street. |

Next regular meeting March 4, 2025 at the Community Center at 7:00 p.m.

Motion by DJ that we adjourn the meeting; second by Trish. All voted Aye to approve. Motion carried.

Open Forum: Anyone addressing the council with a concern should note that Council may place the issue on next month’s agenda to fully review prior to making a decision.
